Engineering supervision of gas pipeline
New high pressure gas pipeline from Bjelovar to Sveti Ivan Žabno was built to ensure enough gas quantity to existing pipeline users.
The project task was to build new high pressure gas pipeline from Bjelovar to Sveti Ivan Žabno (area of Rovišće, Kadinac, Sv. Ivan Žabno, Vrbovca, Hagnja i Križevaca). It also needs to provide extension of distribution network and future integration with existing distribution ring (Koprivnica and Dugo Selo). The old pipeline build in 1974 was in poor condition.
The Project involves the provision of a number of facilities and connections along the route. These are to allow efficient and safe operation of the bi-directional pipeline, and to permit the metering and sale of gas to distribution companies at pre-defined locations along the route. Starting point of pipeline is Pig Launching Station (PLS) in existing MRS Bjelovar, and end point of new pipeline is Pig Receiving Station (PRS) in Sveti Ivan Žabno. The pipeline is steel and will be cathodically protected.
