Construction of the new non-electrified single-track railway

GI Group is conducting supervision of building a new single-track railway on section Gradec – Sveti Ivan Žabno.

New railway rout is 12,175 km long and placed between Gradec and Sveti Ivan Žabno stations.

Supervision services are conducted under FIDIC contract – Red book.

New railway is intended for improving transport communication between city of Bjelovar and it’s region with City of Zagreb. Estimated traveling time between Bjelovar and Zagreb, traveling by new railway, is approximately one hour. Considering its international and domestic transportation, this railway is bound to have an impact on local transportation as well.
